Yes. From January 2027, we will offer dedicated Kyokushin Karate classes in Baden for kids aged 7–11 and juniors aged 12–14. Teenagers aged 15 and above train in our regular adult classes. You can register your child now. Visit our class pages for details about the groups and training times.
Children learn the foundations of Kyokushin Karate: individual techniques and stances (kihon), sequences of movements (kata), and fighting (kumite). They develop body control, practise their reactions and learn to judge distance – important foundations for self-defence, too. Physically active exercises alternate with tasks that require concentration, coordination and attention. No previous experience is needed.
Karate training takes place in a traditional dogi. You will also need shin and instep guards, gloves and groin or chest protection. All equipment can be purchased directly at the dojo. For your first few training sessions, comfortable sportswear is sufficient. We train barefoot.
You can find an overview of the training times for all our classes on the Training page.
